北京人，1933年畢業於中央美術學院壁畫系。1995年參加國際藝苑入境三人展。1996年與北京雲峰畫苑舉辦章劍繪畫作品展。1997年作品《甜蜜事業》入選走向新世紀中國青年油畫展獲優秀獎提名。1998年與北京中國美術館第九屆美展。1999年作品《陽光燦爛的日子》人選北京市慶祝建國五十周年：書法、攝影展及第九屆全國美展，同年亦參加於北京國際藝苑美術館與深圳何香凝美術館舉辦的新銳的目光聯展。2000年北京藝術博覽會、上海藝術博覽會。2001年於義大利帕多瓦青年博物館巴匣現代藝術館舉辦對話一中國現代藝術巡迴展。2002年於炎黃藝術館藝術夏至。2003年於上海亦安藝術舉辦早春二月章劍個展。

Born in Beijing. In 1993, he graduated from the Central Arts Academy, Wall Painting Department. In 1995 he participated in a Three-man International Art Exhibition. In 1997 his work "Sweet Career" earned his a nomination for outstanding work in the Walking Towards a New Century-Chinese Young Oil Painters Exhibition. In 1999, he work "Days of Bright Sunshine" was selected to be exhibited in Beijing Celebrates 50th Year of the Republic: Scrolls, Photography, and the Ninth Nationwide Art Exhibition. In the same year, he participated in The New Visions joint exhibition. In 1999 New Sight-Born in 1970' s in Beijing International Gallery and He Xiangning Musuem in Shengzhen. In 2001 Dialoogue: Conflict & Tolerance held by the Mandova Youth Museum of Padua, Italy and the Paris Modern Arts Museum.
